Sorry but her crazed personality is a turn off. Granted a lot of the servants were disrespectful to her but to hit someone with a candelabra is pure abuse or punishment for a mere mistake is disgusting and overkill. It reminds me of an article l read which was what really goes on in a harem from a maid who escaped the abuse. The Arab princess’ were scary. First they will take away your passport then put you in servitude. The maid said she witnessed an Asian maid being kicked multiple times by a princess for a minor error or other occasions slapping and punching by these women on on the maids who couldn’t escape.The FL yes was hurt by the Duke and his subordinates but her solution is too extreme and equally cruel. Her current personality is a toxic and a turnoff making it a difficult read.
