I thinks it's chestnuts. In french "chataignes" in spanish "castaña", looks like "castes" I guess ^^ (hazelnuts is noisettes and avallanas, that's another story ^^)... + chestnuts are mixable in a soup but I'm not so sure for hazelnuts (you would grind them at most)

His mom was vengeful, selfish, psychotic and would rather the entire royal family suffer for the actions of one person. Rupert was emotionless, cold and calculated till Lari came around and then he ignored her outside of the work he had her do. Lari was nice sure, but she knew Lari was forcing herself to be kind for survival not because she wanted to, at least early on. She has never and still doesn't have anyone to show her how to handle any of the feelings she has. What she's been taught is people are flawed and awful. So idk how else she's supposed to act when the people who shaped her from the moment she was created don't handle things like normal people. She is a reflection of all the worst parts of the people around her and I'll say again, she deserved better than to be a tool for other people's fucked up plans.
